M. Jay Wexler, DO, FACOG, FACS

Dr. M. Jay Wexler graduated from The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed his internship at Doctor’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio and then completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Sinai Hospital of Detroit (Wayne State University). He is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (F.A.C.O.G.) and he is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (F.A.C.S.
In 1973 he returned to his hometown of Newburgh and joined the practice of the doctor who delivered him at St. Luke’s Hospital. He has been extremely interested in the rebirth of Newburgh and has been a great supporter of St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital. He has served as Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Luke’s Hospital for several terms for a total of 8 years. He presently is a member of the Board of St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital Foundation. He has been a member of the Newburgh Rotary Club for the past 25 years and served as president in 1979. In 1989 Dr. Wexler was instrumental, along with Dr. Chung, in combining the two practices that we know today as Women’s Medical Care of Hudson Valley, P.C. In September 2002, after practicing Obstetrics for over 32 years, he now limits his practice to Gynecology, including Infertility. He also has a great interest in peri-menopause, menopause and osteoporosis. |
Eileen Bogursky, MD, FACOG

Dr. Eileen Bogursky attended The Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City after graduating from Cornell University with a B.S. in education. She did specialty training in obstetrics and gynecology in Jerusalem, Israel.
After completing her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology, also at the Mount Sinai Hospital, she joined Women's Medical Care of Hudson Valley, P.C. Dr. Bogursky has published research articles in The American Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology and The Journal of Reproductive Medicine. She is Board Certified and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology. Dr. Bogursky’s personal experience as a mother to four children helps her to better understand her patients’ needs during their health care process. Her degree in education assists her in counseling patients to actively participate in decision making and preventative healthcare. |
